About

I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering with distinction from VIT - Vellore where I did my final project on Speech recognition using Tensorflow and deployed it as an Android application.

Research

I am fascinated by topics in multilingual NLP especially models that leverage linguistic knowledge or deal with indic NLP low-resource languages, and NLP applications that are socially motivated. Right now, I am working on understanding metalearning to enhance the performance of NLP applications.

Received the excellence award for the work on the Smart Investigation Assistant project along with a cash prize of INR 10,000

• Rank-10, NEST - I category (NEST, MUMBAI) - Jan 2015

Secured 10th rank in the All India Ranking of NEST-1 Category scholarship exam conducted by NEST India on Jan 25-2015 and won a cash prize of INR 30,000.

Participated and Secured fifth position in the All India Ranking of NEST-JR Category and won a cash prize of INR 25,000 as Prize money conducted by NEST on July 2014
